A note on patient data
Where a product complaint or adverse event report involves information about a patient (such as information about an injury, adverse event, or patient outcome), CONMED may process limited health data relating to that patient. This data is typically provided to us by the healthcare professional or other contact submitting the complaint.

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain personal data for a longer period, for example where we are subject to a legal obligation to do so.
Data processed to perform a contract is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and for a period thereafter as required by applicable limitation periods.
Data processed for marketing purposes is retained until you withdraw your consent or opt out, plus a short period to allow us to action your request.
Data processed for website analytics and security purposes is retained for a limited period consistent with the purpose.
